Well the kids are officially back to school which means I am officially back to work full time! I just finished painting my "Crystal" sculpt! Whew! She is a big baby...and chubby too! The next step will be a long, tedious one...rooting that big head! I am not sure how long that will take, but if I had to guess, I would say the rest of the week! As soon as she is ready for adoption, I will send out a newsletter! If you haven't signed up for my newsletter, please do so on my home page. You will be one of the first to be notified when a new baby comes available!
I wanted to also briefly touch on my upcoming events. As of now, I have no more shows scheduled for this year. Also, due to my daughter graduating next June, I will not be able to exhibit at the International Doll Show in Asheville next year. I am totally bummed because it was a great show, but sometimes that is just how it works out.
Since I will not be ast the International Doll Show, I will be exhibiting at the ROSE International Doll and Teddy Bear Expo in Denver, CO in July of 2015. That is going to be an experience for me because I have never done a show where I had to take a flight to get there. That means putting babies on a plane. That scares the heebee jeebees out of me, but I will work it out. I am so excited for the show. If there is any way you can make it to this show, do so! The best of the best of artists will be at this show!!! I believe this will be the largest doll show ever to come to the United States so you won't want to miss it! Ok, I think that is all I have for now. I am off to weight Crystal's limbs and to seal them up. Tomorrow ....ROOTING that big head!!!
