In With the New!!!

Written by Deborah on .

Hi everyone,

I wanted to mention to everyone that I will be changing how I varnish my babies. The company that makes the varnish that I have always used has now changed the formula. It has become very difficult to use and is almost impossible not to leave the baby feeling rough. I have learned to use a new matte varnish that I have fallen in love with. Not only is it less difficult, but it leaves the baby soft and I love that! That will be new from this point forward.

Also, I am don't forget I have reduced some of my doll show babies. There is nothing wrong with these babies. I am simply making room for new sculpts...and I have plenty waiting for me to start. Here is the link to what I have left:

Back to Work!

Written by Deborah on .

Hi foks,

I am back to work after a short break following the ROSE doll show. Today I will begin on Bonnie Brown's Twin B. Once she is completed, I will start Twin A. These sculpts are adorable and their details and just amazing.

Keep in mind I am tryiing to make room for all the new babies I have sitting here waiting to be started. I have reduced what I have left from the ROSE show. Please don't hesitate to make me an offer on any baby. The worst that will happen is I will kindly say thanks for the offer but I cannot accept. I will not be offended. Saoirse will be back up for adoption soon once I figure out where in my supplies I have place her belly plate.

Here is a link to the babies I have left from the ROSE show:

Saoirse

Written by Deborah on .

Hi everyone,

Some folks have been wondering why my Saoirse baby just disappeared from my Up for Adoption page. I realized yesterday that her belly plate is not packed in her box with her. I must have misplaced it when returning from the ROSE International Doll Show. There is no question in my mind that I have it, but I just haven't had the time to go through all my stuff to locate it. I do not want to sell her until I find it. I am it just got packed away with the wrong baby. I will get her back up on my site as soon as I have located it.

Thanks,

Deborah

Home Again, Home Again, Jiggity Jig!

Written by Deborah on .

Hi everyone,

I am back from the Rose International Doll and Teddy Bear Show. I had a great time! The crowds were not abundant especially after the first day, but it was still time well spent.

Please note that I have placed all babies that were not adopted back on my Up for Adoption page. At this time I am running a 10% off sale on all babies through tomorrow, July 24. Please keep in mind that I will entertain offers. I may not be able to accept them, but I am always willing to hear them.

I plan to take the next few days off and then will begin working on more babies. I have some wonderful kits waiting for me to start.

Thank you,

Deborah

Few Anouncements

Written by Deborah on .

Hi Everyone,

Well, the good news is, my first "Harlow" sculpt is now completed. The bad news...my shoulder didnt take it well. I spent a few days rooting the head and when I was finishing up yesterday, the pain in my shoulder was unbearable. It forced me to stop working and to take some pain killers. I also noticed some swelling.

I love to root, but unfortunately it is taking a terrible toll on my shoulder. For this reason, I plan to suspend any rooting for awhile. From this point forward, all babies will have painted hair until I feel I can try and handle rooting again. I was told awhile back to stop all together. I tried to put limitations on myself, but even that has not kept my shoulder from flaring up. My shoulder is very sensitve. Sometimes even lifting a gallon of milk out of the fridge can cause it to flare up.

I have not decided yet if I will take this Harlow to the ROSE show or if I will take the painted hair baby. I am leaning more towards taking the painted hair baby because all of my others will also have painted hair, but I havent quite decided just yet. As soon as I figure it out, I will let everyone on my mailing list know. I will also post something here.

I apologize for how slow things seem to be moving. A few folks have emailed me asking when the next baby is coming available. At this time I am working long hours everyday preparing for my upcoming show. I also have family coming in soon for my daughter's high school graduation and my son's middle school graduation. It is a very busy time, but please know I am working hard to keep the babies coming.

Thank you,

Deborah
