David by Tina Kewy

Written by Deborah on .

Hi folks,

I have just completed painting the "David" sculpt by Tina Kewy. I have fallen in love with this baby....so, so sweet! I will be spending the next few days painting her hair. Once I have her done, I will send out a newsletter!

Slow Progress this Week

Written by Deborah on .

Hi folks,

This week has not been too productive. My kids are on their Spring Break so I have been doing some work but also have been trying to keep them entertained. I am finishing up going through photos today on my Elisa Marx Ivy sculpt. This baby will be going to the ROSE International Doll Show in July. Once I have the photos done and have her posted on my Doll Show Babies page, I will be starting on 2 more babies. Those will include Olga Auer's "Adelya" and Tina Kewy's "Jamie". Adelya will be going to the ROSE show unless plans change. I will keep you posted.

Thanks,

Deborah

Working, working, working!!!

Hi folks,

I am finally feeling my energy is back and I am now working full speed ahead in preparation for my upcoming show in July. From now until then I am attempting to work on two babies simultaneously. One baby will be for the show, the other will be for adoption here on my site. I have several kits that are waiting to be made. A few I am waiting to be shipped and some are here just waiting to be brought alive. This week I will be making another Elisa Marx Ivy  that will be put away for adoption at the Rose International Doll show. I will also be working on Tamie Yarie's "Raven" kit that will be available for adoption. She is beautiful kit. She is a limited edition kit of only 500. Her details are amazing and her face is as sweet as can be.

Because I am working on kits simultaneously, it may take me a little longer in between kits especially if a baby is being rooted. My shoulder doesn't handle rooting well and usually requires me to stop and let ibuprophen to settle in. These next two babies will have hand painted hair so that should allow me to rest it for a good while.

Ok. I am back to work!

Caught by the Bug!!!

Hi folks,

I have been pretty ill the last few days. Finally, I went to the doctor today. I have a bad sinus infection and bronchitis. This has pretty much knocked me off my feet for a few days. My energy level has plummeted. I am now on antibiotics so hopefully in a few days I will be back 100%.

I currently have Linde Scherer's Lisa sculpt in progress. She is completely painted and I have taken on the task of rooting her. I had finished about 1/2 her head when I suddenly became ill. I hope to be able to finish her soon.

More Coming!

Written by Deborah on .

Hi Folks!

Well my inventory has pretty much cleaned out! LOL! All of a sudden everyone is adopting babies. I promise I am working hard on creating new ones. I have just about finished Elisa Marx's "Ivy".  Her painting is complete. I have just filled her limbs and will need to allow them to try until tomorrow. I still need to add a few finishing touches to her head such as glossing her lips, and rooting her lashes. I hope to have her available by Wednesday or Thursday. I will then start a new sculpt, but not sure which one yet. I will also start creating babies to set aside for the ROSE International Show in Denver in July. I am going to be a busy bee for the next 6 months for sure!
