Welcome to 2015!

Written by Deborah on .

Hi Folks!

Welcome to 2015! Still cannot believe it is 2015 already! Time flies and time has certainly escaped me the last few weeks. I have had company since December 18. As you can imagine, I have had little to no time to work on babies! Company leaves tomorrow morning so I hope to be back in full swing by Wednesday. I will be spending tomorrow cleaning the house after company has left and hope to have a little time to work on Miracle again. I have been bombarded with emails asking about her. I really am trying hard to get her done. Her painting is about 90% complete. I am still working on her belly plate and then need to finish her head. Once her painting is completed, I will varnish her and then will begin the rooting process. Please remember my rooting has slowed due to a shoulder that give me fits. Many times I have to stop because it becomes hot and inflamed. Please bear with me. Folks have asked for a specific date and I just cannot really commit to one. I can say that I hope to have her done by the end of next week for sure. If things go well, it may be sooner.

Thank you for understanding! I wish everyone a Happy New Year that is filled with many blessings!

Catch ya later!

Starting Miracle Today!

Written by Deborah on .

Hi Everyone!

Today I will begin to paint Laura Lee Eagles "Miracle" sculpt! This kit is a real gem! Her features are amazing and I cannot get over how adorable her limbs are! I hope to have her done after the holidays. She will be rooted so bear with me. It is killer on my shoulder, but I really want to root her.

Keep your eyes out for her after the holidays!!!

Thanks,

Deborah

Miracle

Written by Deborah on .

Hello,

I hope everyone is enjoying the Christmas lights and all the holiday festivities! Christmas kind of snuck up on me this year so I am still trying to play catch up on shopping and having my home ready for my son coming to visit.

I have just completed another little preemie girl. I hoped to have her done today, but have since learned that her pacifier will not be here until Monday. If the mail is quick, I could get it tomorrow, but with it being Christmas time, I would say Monday would be more likely. Hopefully I can get her paci attached and then once she is dry, get her ready for her photoshoot so I can have her available by Tuesday. I did twin preemies of this sculpt not too long ago and have had many folks asking if I would do more. I plan to do more, but will be doing them as singles now.

I have a little bit of Christmas shopping I plan to do today while my kids are in school, but plan to start on Laura Lee Eagles "Miracle" today. I am not positive I will have her done this month or not. I do have company coming for the holidays so my work time will be limited. I do, however, still plan to try to get some work done in the evenings. Of course, I will send out a newsletter when she is completed. I have had at last count, 14 people ask me if I was doing this sculpt. She is adorable and her limbs are so chubby and just so irresistable!  I cannot wait to have her done. I do plan to root her. Let's just plan on her being done sometime in the beginning of January.

Thanks,

Deborah

Bone Chillin' Cold!

Written by Deborah on .

Hi folks,

I don't know how weather is in your neck of the woods, but it is just bone chillin' cold here mixed with some rain! YUCK!

I have started my day working on Michelle Fagan's Gabriel. I have been working on him for a few days and I am about half way done with his painting. I cannot tell yet if he will be a girl or a boy. Sometimes I can tell right away, but this one has me puzzled. I will just have to wait till he is done. I will be painting the hair on this one. It took me 5 days to root baby Peyton (Knox). My shoulder has been really inflamed as a result, so this baby will definitely have painted hair so that I can give my shoulder a much needed break!

I will send out a newsletter as soon as he is finished!

Thanks,

Deborah

Knox Update!

Written by Deborah on .

Hi folks,

I have had a few people asking me when my Knox sculpt would be completed. I have been working on him (or her) for almost two weeks now. I am currently working on his rooting the best that I can. I have a shoulder issue that makes rooting very difficult for me. Rooting this particular head has been especially painful. It is taking me a little longer than usual, but I hope to have her done by the end of the week. I will send out a newsletter as soon as she is available.

Thanks,

Deborah
